I love this! I hope you don't regret any of these phases. Clothes really do hold great memories and insights into our lives.
Love this idea for a post. I was going through old pictures not long ago and laughed so much at some of my ridiculous fashion choices. All told, yours are pretty great overall, the only exception being the Northern Getaway stuff, but I think we've all been there - I certainly was a northern getaway kid from time to time back in the day.
This is such a neat post idea!! I love looking back on all my various clothing obsessions and phases from different periods in my life, too. Even if most of them were completely regrettable and embarrassing. I totally rocked the sparkly denim look back in 2001, too. @.@
Your childhood dressing was a lot better than mine - my mum dressed me beautifully until I was about 8 and started choosing my own clothes, which was one fell swoop into fleecy tracksuit trousers with elasticated ankles. (I don't even know... Hopefully I dress a lot better now.)
Excellent post! I wish I had more images of my style circa: 03 - 07 but there's barely any evidence of those days. It's a little sad.
Mom jeans hells yeah !!
I have followed your blog forevs and enjoyed watching your fashion "evolution," as you will.
Missed out on the bondage pants though.

I keep meaning to do my own fashion flashback! History meets clothing- important! Oh nostaliga.
Miceworld? That's a whole story on a jumper, how cool!
I see a pattern of interesting textiles =)
Man if I could get my hands on one of those Mice World shirts again everything would be perfect.
Ahh, love this post :) What a great idea!
This is a really cool post. It's interesting because my culture is so completely different. If course you're younger, but the fact that I'm from a different country - a different continent! - makes it all distinct.
I really like your uniqueness. I'm following you with Bloglovin!

I'm 20 and I deeply regret that my mom didn't let me go through a bondage pants phase when I was 14/15. also "Mice World"? really??
all hail the evil eye jewelry necklace.
ah it's incredibleeeeeee ♥f
It's always nice to reminisce. You've come a long way girl.
This is a great idea! I had a pair of sparkly jeans that I wore way too much in high school and a pair of pink converse that are like 15 years old and barely hanging on anymore. I think my history would be a lot of vintage tees, grandma cardigans and pearl necklaces. I'm still waiting to come into my leopard coat phase!

pink converses are so much better than green converses, which I had around the same time...
I didn't know we were born in the same year!
I remember one defining moment of childhood fashion choice: I went for Daria-inspired hiking boots over platform shoes. Yep, my life was decided there and then! :)
I had bright green converse with rainbow laces! My younger sister now owns them and occasionally wears them. You've made pretty good style choices you're whole life, not a shell suit in sight!

I like it. It's so cute indeed :)
That fish jumper is so beautiful. And I had bondage trousers, but mine were hand-me-downs from my mother. Punk inheritance! They didn't fit, actually, but I wore them anyway, with a Sex Pistols t-shirt.
So great post! I love the special necklace!! Pretty and grab my eyes!!
wahhh this is freakinn' me out, if I were to write a fashion history it would read nearly the same
